Why did we choose Bamboo?

Sustainable - grows quickly and there's no need to spray it with pesticides, meaning no harmful chemicals in your clothing.

Ecofriendly - it's a planet-friendly crop as it requires no chemicals to help it grow and very little water.

Helpful to skin sensitivities - it contains antibacterial and hypo-allergen properties, usually making it ideal for your skin, especially babies and kids who suffer from skin allergies, eczema etc. Keep in mind, when sourced correctly and ethically, Cotton Fabric can also have these properties, too!

The perfect trans-seasonal fabric - it can help regulate body temperature, making it the perfect item to wear all year round!

Absorbent - sometimes more than cotton. Meaning it is more comfortable for those sweaty days and nights!

Amazing feel - comfort is important, especially when it comes to our kids, right?

Durable - Bamboo usually withstands daily use and regular washing, more than most other fabrics.

Our Bamboo Basics are 95% BAMBOO and 5% SPANDEX. They do not include Viscose. While there is nothing wrong with buying items that are Bamboo and contain Viscose (which most Bamboo items are), the points above refer to fabric which is almost all Bamboo. This is also another reason why it is harder to source a lot of colours of Bamboo fabric, whereas Bamboo/Viscose is easier to find.

At BT&Co. we sourced it with spandex to make sure they were super stretchy for your kids with bigger heads (like mine), for their ultimate comfort, for longer lasting wear, which means we have more control over the supply chain process and labour conditions, as best we can. So your kids will be able to wear them season after season, rather than just one season! And finally, in order for them to be as versatile as possible. We have put the same time, research, education and effort into our Cotton Range, too.

Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial and incredibly soft, making it ideal for babies with eczema or sensitive skin. It helps reduce irritation, wicks away moisture and keeps skin cool and dry.

Absolutely! All of our clothing is tagless, soft, and designed with minimal seams. Parents of children with sensory sensitivities often tell us how much their little ones love the feel of our garments and how they help to regulate behaviour and improve levels of focus and concentration.

Absolutely! While bamboo is soft, it’s also strong and stretchy — making it perfect for crawling, climbing and all the fun things toddlers do. We also only use 240gsm fabric weight which ensures they are the highest quality and longest lasting you can find.

Baby Todd & Co. is an environmentally conscious brand.

We use compostable, biodegradable & recyclable packaging and we recycle all our plastics and paper in-house.

Our clothing textiles are ethically made by a small, bespoke production house in China and our bamboo is sourced from sustainably managed bamboo plantations who produce large amounts of renewable material while conserving natural resources.

These approved bamboo farming practices meet our high standards for manufacturing partnering as they involve minimal fertilisers and pesticides and don’t require much water, conserving this critical resource and earning Oeko-Tex accreditation.

For our Bamboo Tops in size 0-3m to size 1: Our Bamboo fabric is already extremely stretchy. Most times you do not need to unbutton these to use your top. They are functional though, but hard and tight to snap on and off for safety reasons. They have also gone through multiple testing phases, including torque force & strength attachment. Keep in mind to always gently remove these, if need be, and to always follow the washing instructions provided above. We suggest using the delicate wash setting on these and placing them in wash bags is recommended.

Yes, of course.

Legally all washing instructions/care labels and fire warning labels have to be provided with every item, wherever you buy your clothes from.

However, we provide these separately - they have never been attached to a garment.

We know how annoying these labels can be, and based on our own experience buying clothes, we spent so much time and ruined so many clothes cutting labels off we found a way so you never need to!

We have included all necessary labels in a detachable recyclable envelope.

Yes, we now offer gift wrapping - this option can be selected FREE of charge, when making each clothing selection.

International orders may be subject to customs and import duties upon reaching its country of destination. You will be responsible for paying all customs and import duties and acknowledge that failure to pay may result in your order being held at customs. We will not be liable for any costs you may incur in having your order released from customs, including reimbursing you for any customs or import duties you may pay.

However, due to the import Tariff's imposed by the current US Administration and the subsequent ban on deliveries to the USA by AusPost, orders to the USA will be shipped via premium, tracked courier (either UPS, FedEx, or Interparcel Express/DHL).

Please choose carefully as we want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a problem with sizing or colour choice, you are welcome to return your item for an exchange within 35 days of receipt. We ask that you contact us to arrange this first. 

The cost of return shipping is at the customer's expense, unless the item is deemed faulty. If that is the case, you will receive one of the following: 

- a refund (if preferred, and if the item is deemed faulty). All refunds will be credited back to your original method of payment.

- a credit note in the form of a BT&Co. gift-card which includes the total amount paid of the item/s returned (excluding shipping fees). You will have 6 months to use it and the full amount must be redeemed in one transaction. 

All returned items must be received in brand new condition - not washed or used, in their original packaging, including all hangtags. Please note - as we are a tagless clothing brand, all fire warning and washing instruction labels must be returned with the garments. 

International customers must return their items within 35 days, for a refund. Please allow up to 7 days for our processing. The speed of your refund may be further impacted by your own banking institution processes.

At BT&Co., we pride ourselves on the quality of our products.

All items are carefully inspected before being packaged and posted out to you, so it is highly unlikely that you will receive a faulty item.

In the event that you have received a faulty item, within 7 days of receiving the order contact us via email at support@babytoddandco.com with your order number and the description of the fault, including photos if you can, before you post it back to us.

If the item is considered faulty, we will be happy to refund the purchase amount of the item including the shipping fee, to the original payment method, or provide a replacement if requested.

All orders from Baby Todd & Co, by default, are 'Authority-to-Leave'. They will not require a signature and will be left at your designated delivery address in a safe location. If you prefer to sign for your order, please leave a comment on checkout, and we will try our best to accommodate this.

We have made our size guide very simple. Sizing is based on Australian standard sizing. Clothing should fit true to baby/toddler/child's age, unless you want a more cosy or baggy fit. If so, we suggest going up or down a size.

E.g. an 8 month old baby should wear size 6-12 months A 4 year old child should be able to wear size 4.

We recommend sizing up when purchasing the Bamboo Hangout Shorts as they run slightly small, due to their style.

Our Teens / Adult Everyday Tee is standard unisex sizing.

Unfortunately, Amazon's AUD$49.95 per month subscription fee plus their 13% sales 'tax' charged for each Clothing Item sold via their platform makes Amazon prohibitive to us as a small business.

These fees would need to be passed on to customers in the form of price increases (approx. $5 per garment) which we are not prepared to do.
